So what do you need to do to become one of our valued candidates?

First of all we will need to see a copy of your most current up-to-date CV (Curriculum Vitae). You can submit this to us using our easy form Send your CV. Here you will find an upload button and some boxes to complete so you can tell us as much as you can about the roles you are looking for. The more information you can provide the better, but don't worry if you are not sure what you want to do. One of our experienced consultants will be able to chat with you about your options. Don't forget if you have seen a vacancy on our website you like the sound of make sure you mention it when you send us your CV!

Once we have received your CV we will be in touch with you shortly. If we have a role we think you might be interested in then we will discuss it with you. We will always keep candidates details on our database for when that perfect role comes in we can match you to it immediately.

By sending us your CV it does not mean that you are now registered with us. We may appear to be 'Old Fashioned' but we strongly believe in meeting our candidates face-to-face to get you know you better. We feel that this is the best way for us to understand what you are looking for and to understand your personality! Plus we have to also ID you as a legal requirement. For your convenience we meet at centrally located places in Reading town centre, near Bracknell and near Henley on Thames. We work by appointment only. We only believe in getting you registered if we have a role for you - we don't want to waste your time if we do not have anything to tell you about!

Don't want your current employer know you are looking to leave? We have appointments available at lunch times and evenings so you do not have to take a 'half day' to meet with us! The consultant you meet does not have to be your only point of contact with Headstart - we work as a team and any questions or queries you may have can be directed to any of our team members. We all work together closely in order to give you the best service possible if your consultant is unavailable.

Giving something back to you as a valued candidate

A lot of our new candidates come from current/past candidate recommendations. Once you are registered with us (met us face to face) if you recommend a friend and we successfully place them in a new role we give something back to you - £100 worth of High Street Shopping Vouchers!
