This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large financial services employer in Reading Town Centre. They are looking for an experienced Team Leader from an Financial Services background.

This role will require:

• Proactive management to achieve department goals and targets.
• Reviewing existing systems, procedures, service standards and making recommendations.
• Set objectives and development plans for team members.
• Conduct 1 to 1’s and performance development reviews for the team in a timely manner and deal with performance and conduct issues in line with company procedures.
• Provide effective communication to ensure management team and staff are kept up to date with issues.
• Responsible for rectifying escalated complaints and ensuring feedback is given.

Our client is looking for a person who can maintain client focus, build partnerships, achieve excellence within their team, demonstrate clear leadership qualities, coach and develop the team and who can communicate effectively. You will need to have good problem solving skills, able to motivate staff, to make decisions, be self motivated and remain positive and productive during changing circumstances.

You will need to have good GCSE grades / A level grades (or equivalent), with good keyboard skills and able to work accurately under pressure. Having an IAQ Merit Award is a bonus or you will need to be willing to work towards this award. Experience within the Financial Services industry essential.
